CHURCH ADMINISTRATION



The maximum function of government is exercised by the General Assembly of the church, which is made up of all the members inscribed in the record book. The Assembly is convened annually in ordinary and extraordinary sessions where appropriate.

Elected by the General Assembly of the Church, the Council acts in a collegial manner in the administration of the entity. It is made up of five church members.

PRESIDENT of the Church Council, who is also of the Entity, has its external representation, and its functions are:
Convene and chair both the meetings of the Church Council and the General Assembly.
Maintain a file of the documents belonging to the Entity.
Communicate to the General Assembly the General Directives of the Entity.

THE VICE PRESIDENT assists the President in everything necessary, and replaces him in his absence (this includes all the functions and responsibilities of the President).

THE SECRETARY It has the following functions:
Maintain the Book of Minutes in a correct, orderly and complete manner.
Maintain a file of Minutes and the documents entrusted to it.
Prepare the Minutes corresponding to the meetings of the Council of the church, and of the General Assembly of the Entity, faithfully transcribing in them the same treated in said meetings.
Issue certificates regarding agreements and matters discussed at the meetings of the church council and the General Assembly.

THE TREASURER It has the following functions:
Receive all the funds that are delivered to the Entity.
Disburse the funds of the Entity and release the corresponding payment orders. Bank accounts in the name of the Entity need two signatures from any of the five members of the Board for the availability of their funds. A bank account is maintained in the name of the Church, keeping the current names of the five members of the Council legalized in the account.
Keep the faithful and orderly accounting about the Entity's income and expenses.

THE ASSISTANT TO THE TREASURER assists the Treasurer in everything necessary, and replaces him in his absence (this includes all functions and responsibilities of the Treasurer).

LEARNERS of Council. The Council may elect three apprentices per year, who do not have an official vote, but who collaborate with the Council. The purpose of the trainees is to involve more church members in the administration and to teach other people how the church works.
